Employment
We are a family owned heavy highway construction company specializing in asphalt paving, excavation, site development, demolition and sanitary/storm sewer installation work for various state, county and city municipalities. We also perform this specialized work for numerous commercial developments and local companies throughout Erie County.
We are currently operating with six separate crews throughout the area. Our employees work seasonally from April through November each year. We shut down operations from December through March and our employees are eligible for unemployment during this time.
Our construction crew employees work outside in all weather conditions. They work anywhere from 6 to 15 hours per day 5 to 6 days per week depending on work load and weather. There is no set work schedule, starting times and ending times vary from day to day. The type of work they perform is physically demanding and requires individuals with a positive attitude, mental determination and physical endurance.
